What exactly is an Apostille
Which countries accept it?
It’s a certification form attached to your notarized document. In fact, an Apostille is the highest certification any document can receive. The Apostille Certification legalizes any document for use in a foreign country. Note, this is not exclusive to any one country. Submitting a document drafted in Spain to the US requires an Apostille, as does submitting a US document to Spain.
Thankfully, the Apostille is accepted in every county that has become a member of the Hague Agreement for document authentication established in 1961.
